Planet Paints has two types of Patented concrete coatings.
Versacoat (exterior) - UV exposure
Versacoat is a two component, high gloss acrylic polyurethane paint. It is cured with aliphatic isocyanate that provides a high build coating that has good flexibility and durability but with UV protection.
Versacoat has a longer drying time but outstanding durability. If your concrete is exposed to the sun this is the coating to use.
Maintain (interior) - No UV exposure
Maintain is a two component, low gloss acrylic polyurethane paint. It is cured with aromatic isocyanate that provides a high build coating that has good flexibility and durability at a good price.
Maintain is a great workshop floor paint due to its fast-drying time. You can paint the workshop on a Friday afternoon and be driving on it on Monday morning.
Both these coatings are made from solvent based waste generated by the panel trade. Particularly panel shops that use a clear over solvent based base coat system.
